Is this it?

Look who's back on the internet! Did you miss me? No? Meh, I can't say I blame you. I was never a very reliable blogger. I wish I could have found the resolve to post, but my life never seemed to have quite enough action to merit an entry. That's why I'm thinking it may be time to officially put this blog to rest for bit (as opposed to the unofficial hiatus it's been on), at least until I'm doing more than just being a standard college student. Because while my life feels like a whirlwind of adventure to me, I'm sure it's pretty normal stuff. And with everyone so busy with their own adventures, who has time to read about mine?

Here's what it has been consisting of lately:

  1. Music. ALL DAY. Out of the 9 classes I'm taking this semester, 6 of them are music classes. And I love it, I wouldn't have it any other way. It's a challenge at times, and I often have trouble relating to 200 year old concertos or understanding the necessity of knowing common practice era voice leading, but it's rewarding. Music makes me happy on a level that few other things do, and I rarely have days where I'm not happy going to class. I've also been trying my hand at songwriting lately, which is fun.
  2. Languages. I took French last semester and I'm taking Spanish now just so that I can be sure  I wont forget all that I learned. I still love both of them.
  3. Friends. I'm hanging out with all of the fantastic people I've met here, and am making tons of new memories with them. From early dinners and study sessions to nights out on the town to late weekend brunches, my days are brighter with these crazy people. It's nothing out of the ordinary, inside jokes and wasted time, but it's perfect.
  4. Just a bit of romance. Because I met a boy, and he makes me happy :)
It all makes me incredibly, unbelievably, extraordinarily happy, but it's not exactly international escapades and global shenanigans. I'll be sure to let you know as soon as it is again, but until then I think it's time to say goodbye.

Any objections? Speak now, or forever hold your peace.
